Lemon Zest Lavender Cookies

Lemon lavender cookies recipe from The Perfect Pantry. The cookies are made from freezing dough log, sliced into 3/8-inch thick rounds. The dough mix has lemon zest and lavender in it. Each of them is placed on the baking sheets, with one inch apart spacing. Bake for 12-14 minutes until the centers of the cookies just begin to color and the edges are golden brown, rotate the baking sheets halfway through the baking time. After that, cool the cookies on the pans, then transfer to a wire rack.
