    Spinach makes the body acidic unless first boiled or steamed in suspension and then drain the liquid off before eating the spinach. The boiling or steaming washes out the acid which if consumed will contribute to making the body acidic not alkaline. This was told to me by our Chinese Doctor who is well schooled in natural healing.
